Then came the Call to Worship and the Journey to Bethlehem was underway.

After a brief prayer members of the cast lit candles and brought them out to the congregation so that they might light their candles spread “The Light of our World, Jesus Christ.”

The service was filled with readings from the Bible separated by joyous songs. The evening was best summed up by the leader’s opening of “Tonight we celebrate the coming of Christ, the Light of the World. Our candles bear witness to get the light and brighten this time of celebration together. One candle is but a flicker, but together, we create a bright light. Jesus is the light of the world…Jesus is the hope of all our tomorrows. As you carry this light of Jesus’ love with you, may you be witness to the light Christ brings.”
